Back to school is here again! How did that happen? Summer just flew by. Transitioning from summer to fall can be daunting, especially when you are working mom trying to balance work expectations with the needs of your children and household. As working moms, it feels like there is no easy way to do this, keep a clear head, and stay on task. Each day for the next five days we will be offering tips to help WOWFED Moms survive the back to school season.
Tip 2: Just ignore the laundry
Where does your laundry lie? Mine is in a laundry basket sitting next to my dresser. The laundry is clean but unfolded. The point is, not having everything completed or accomplished around the house is okay. Be gentle with yourself. This is a busy season and it will pass. There is no one lurking around the corner to give you a ticket or a fine for letting some of your chores fall behind. Give yourself permission to know that it is okay if you are unable to get everything on your “to do” list done. It is completely normal, and acceptable, and eventually, you will get caught up.
